Our Mission

We exist to glorify God by being a loving family of Christ-followers who are passionate about helping others find and follow Christ.

Our Main Hall

Built to reflect strength and simplicity, our sanctuary is where we gather each week to glorify God through faithful preaching, heartfelt worship, and community fellowship.

Historic Entrance

Our original entrance stands as a reminder of our roots, providing a place of welcoming faith, community growth, and steadfast devotion to the Word of God.

Rooted in Christ. Growing Together.

Since 1952, Immanuel Baptist Church has been a place where individuals and families come together to worship, grow, and serve in the name of Jesus Christ. Located in the heart of Springdale, Arkansas, we are a Christ-centered, Bible-teaching congregation committed to living out our faith in everyday life.

We believe the church is not just a building, it’s a family.
Here, you’ll find a close-knit community where genuine relationships are formed, the Scriptures are faithfully preached, and spiritual growth is encouraged. Whether you are exploring Christianity, returning to church, or seeking a place to deepen your walk with God, we welcome you with open arms.

Together, we aim to glorify God, build one another up in love and truth, and share the hope of the Gospel throughout Northwest Arkansas and beyond.

Core Values

What We Value

Our values reflect our commitment to live faithfully according to God's Word, build meaningful relationships, and glorify Christ in all we do within the church and in the world around us.

Biblical Preaching

Faithful, expository teaching rooted in Scripture.

Spiritual Growth

Encouraging accountable, grace-filled relationships.

Family Ministry

Supporting parents and nurturing children in the faith.

Gospel Outreach

Sharing the life-giving message of Jesus.

Community

Living life together in love, humility, and service.

Biblical Leadership in Action

We follow the New Testament model of church leadership, where elders oversee the spiritual health of the congregation and deacons faithfully care for its physical and practical needs.

Elders are called to shepherd, teach, pray, and provide guidance with humility and biblical wisdom. Deacons serve by supporting the body of Christ through compassion, service, and hospitality.

We believe that leadership is not about power, it’s about service. The men who lead our church are not only spiritually qualified, but deeply committed to loving and caring for the people God has placed in their care.

Elder

Ben Seewald

Ben earned his undergraduate degree from Moody Bible Institute and received hands-on ministry training through two pastoral internships. Since then, he has continued his biblical studies through Grace Bible Theological Seminary.

He has been married to his wife Jessa for over a decade, and they have six children. Ben enjoys reading, studying history, spending time with family and friends, weightlifting, cooking, coffee, nature walks, and college football (Go Hogs!).

“I grew up in central Arkansas in a Christian home where my parents taught me about Christ from a young age. God brought me to conversion at the age of 15 through their teaching and the faithful preaching of the pastor in my local church."

Elder

Joe Evans

Joe has served in ministry for over twenty years. He grew up in Southeast Louisiana and he studied for his undergraduate degree at Southeastern Louisiana University. He earned his Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and has taken courses in biblical counseling from CCEF and Equipped to Counsel.

Joe has been married to Hannah for nearly two decades, and they are blessed with nine children. He enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in outdoor adventures, such as camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing.

“When I was 14 years old, the Lord began to work in my heart through the ministry of a youth group. For the first time, I began to understand the gospel and my need for Christ. It wasn’t long before I repented of my sins and accepted Christ’s gift of salvation. I was baptized a few months later and joined a local church.”
